Kia ora! Faith in Families is a Whānau Ora practitioner. Its principal role is to act as navigators and champions for the Whānau. Part of its numerous activities includes maintaining a substantial presence on the Web. The whole purpose of our WordPress blog and Facebook Community websites is to give readers knowledge – knowledge that they can use from a wide spectrum of contributors from various sectors such as members of parliament, court judges, former politicians, clinicians, non-clinicians, Maori, Pacifica, other migrant communities, educators, researchers and just ordinary people from our own local communities. Learn too more about our Changing Tomorrow Today™ initiatives which aim to encourage socially-oriented organisations and corporate entities to come together with us and actively participate in our family and community-oriented programmes, projects and activities. Changing Tomorrow Today™ seeks, among other things, to promote a better understanding of roles and the contributions that families and communities can provide as a whole for better outcomes in New Zealand. Joining with us is also a great way to become part of a growing network online. Faith in Families’ social media-oriented networking websites are a space where you have an opportunity to participate by writing content material on an ongoing basis. New items show up at the top, so visitors can read what’s new. Then they may comment on it, link to it, share it or email others about it. We’ve deliberately decided to take advantage of the Internet as the ultimate platform for accelerating the flow of information. To you as a visitor or a potential author, be it an article you read or submit or just a comment expressing an opinion, Faith in Families’ integrated blog and community page websites serve as an authoring system allowing you to publish content without having to know HTML or other web technologies without need of any special software. The opportunity is there to join Faith in Families. Include your friends, whānau members and colleagues too! Your input and insights would be much appreciated.
