Subject: Faith in Families

Kia ora from me! I trust this finds you well!

Anyway, it’s been a long time coming so may I ex-tend this personal invitation for you to join our new Faith in Families‘ blog website today.

I am currently collaborating with a good friend, co-founder, and business advisor – Karl Quirino (photo inset below) in further developing this new organ-isation.

Also I have friends who are trying to take advan-tage of the social networking power of Faith in Families’ blog website and its community page on Facebook.

As each day passes from feedback I’ve received across all sectors, it is becoming clear that the NZ government’s Whānau Ora Approach is a positive way forward for families and communities in New Zealand who want to regain control of their future.

This process of engaging families is not new however, but I’m excited about the new technologies and approach the team and I are developing for our prac-titioners as well as other providers both here and overseas!

And that is why I am writing this to you and to people like you about Faith in Families’ blog website which will be followed by the main services website still in development.

The whole purpose of this is to give readers knowledge – knowledge that they can use from a wide spectrum of contributors from various sectors such as mem-bers of parliament, court judges, former politicians, clinicians, non-clinicians, Māori, Pacifica, other migrant communities, educators, researchers and just peo-ple from our own local communities.

It is also a great way to become part of a growing network online. Faith in Families’ blog website is a space where you have an opportunity to participate by writing material on an ongoing basis. New items show up at the top, so visitors can read what’s new. Then they may comment on it, link to it, share it or email others about it.

We’ve deliberately decided to take advantage of the Internet and the Web together as the ultimate platform for accelerating the flow of information, knowledge, and communications through the efforts of our technology partner – Digital Summit Limited.

To you as a potential author, be it an article you submit or just a comment ex-pressing an opinion, Faith in Families’ integrated blog and community page websites serve as an authoring system allowing you to publish content without having to know HTML or other web technologies without need of any special software.

So, we’ve made it easy for you to become a member. Just visit this site’s Membership page. After signing in, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. Click the link asking you to confirm and you’re done!

The opportunity is there to join us in Faith in Families, including your friends, whānau and colleagues also. Your input and insight would be greatly appre-ciated.

Looking forward to seeing you soon on this site!

Arohanui!

I’m excited about the new ap-proach and technology that Faith in Families Foundation is developing today for our grow-ing network of community de-velopment organisation part-ners, clients, practitioners and other providers, ones that will eventually be utilised to em-power Whānau, communities, and others here and overseas.
